Kansas Office of Primary Care and Rural Health launches Primary Care Needs Assessment (PCNA) Surveys
The PCNA aims to collect data from both health care organizations and community members and groups, on access to preventive and primary care services; analysis of primary care, dental, and mental health provider shortages; analysis of key barriers to health care access based on experiences, which may include, but are not limited to, perceptions of high waiting periods, long travel times, and/or the sufficiency of care; integrated models of care; Kansans who don’t have access to quality health care; providers who use telehealth, telemedicine, and telemonitoring; and emergency preparedness.
An analysis of the highest need for health services based on various demographic and/or geographic factors, such as poverty level, infant mortality, low birth weight, life expectancy, and percent or number of HPSAs will also be considered. We hope you will be able to take the time to complete the survey.
